How to Measure

A simple, frustration-free guide to make sure your Alfred Slats fit perfectly the first time.

Each Alfred panel is 1 foot high by 4 feet wide.

Each kit comes with 4 panels, giving you a total coverage of 4 feet high by 4 feet wide right out of the box. Because every panel is its own 1×4 piece, you can combine them in any layout you want: 2×8, 4×4, 1×16, or a completely custom setup. Stack them vertically, line them horizontally, or trim them to fit your wall exactly.

Step 1: Measure Your Width

  • Measure the total width of your wall. Leave any side clearance you prefer.
  • Panels are 48" wide and can be trimmed for a perfect, custom fit.

Step 2: Measure Your Height

  • Each kit gives you 48" of height when stacked.
  • Add more kits if you want a taller setup or rearrange the individual panels however you like.

Step 3: Plan Your Layout

  • Decide how many 1×4 panels you want to use and how you want them arranged.
  • Use them as a full 4×4 kit or split the 4 panels into smaller zones around your space.
  • Trim pieces are included for clean edges.

You only need three numbers:

  • Wall width
  • Wall height
  • Number of kits or panels needed

Clear, simple, done.

Garage Side Wall

The side wall of most standard garages is 22 feet long and 9 feet tall. Therefore it can accept 10 Alfred kits.

Garage Back Wall

The side wall of most standard garages is 22 feet long and 9 feet tall. Therefore it can accept 10 Alfred kits.

Most single car garages are 12 feet along the back so they can accept 6 total kids if you want to to top and bottom.
